Many of the finest track athletes from around the world are starting on their road to RIO in Beantown. The New Balance Indoor Grand Prix will feature new World record holder Jenn Suhr (5.03 meters, 16'6"), the 2012 Olympic gold and 2008 silver medalist in the pole vault. In the indoor mile, 2008 Olympic silver medalist at 1,500 meters, Nick Willis will be featured. 2012 Olympic bronze medalist 800 meters Brenda Martinez will be racing on Sunday as well. 5000 meters World Indoor Record holder, 3000m World indoor record holder and indoor two mile record holder Meseret Defar, who has won 24 medals in Olympic Games, World Champs, African Champs and World Youth Champs, will be racing in Boston for the first time since the birth of her baby in 2014. And finally, Trayvon Brommell, the co bronaze medalist in the 100 meters in Beijing last summer at the World Championships, will be treating the sports fans of Boston to some fine sprinting.
